Kourosh Tahami to join ‘Daughter of Iran’

Popular Iranian actor Kourosh Tahami has been chosen to join the new movie ‘Daughter of Iran’ by Jalal Ashkezari.

Tahami started off as a child actor. He first had the dream of becoming a doctor to treat his sick grandmother, but in his teenage years, he became fascinated with acting.

Tahami has appeared in ifilm English series such as ‘Saint Mary’ (2000), 'Lighter Than Darkness' (1999-2002), 'Love's Homework' (2003-2004), ‘Under the Blade’ (2006), 'The Weary-Hearted' (2009), 'Shams-ol-Emareh' (2009), 'Hereafter' (2010), ‘Heart of Ice’ (2010), 'Tabriz in Fog' (2010), and 'Autumn Evening' (2013).

The producer Hamed Bamorovatnejad said Gelareh Abbasi is to join the project too.

As he mentioned, the movie is a love story which is different from the director’s previous works. This is Ashkezari’s third directorial experience.

This new project will kick off shooting in Yazd province of Iran.
